CAUTION: Use of charge algorithms with batteries that were not designed for them is done at your own risk, Delta-Q is continuously testing and updating charge algorithms for various batteries. Though many algorithms will work with a range of batteries, variations in manufacturing, chemical composition, health, and other properties may cause unacceptable charging performance.

This article is only for the use of Authorized OEMs and Distributors. Use by any other parties may void the battery and/or charger warranty.

Always closely monitor a suggested battery/algorithm combination for at least three cycles to ensure the batteries are being properly charged. If you are not sure of how to monitor a battery charge, contact Delta-Q Technical Support for advice.

The OEM QuiQ custom models are not meant to be modified from their factory settings as it is intended for their original application only, reprogramming OEM QuiQ custom models with lithium algorithms could result in the charger being inoperable. Please contact the manufacturer of your vehicle or equipment for specific algorithm recommendations on the batteries they support or contact our support team for more information.

To upload the charge profile (algorithm) to your QuiQ battery charger, follow the instructions in the following article QuiQ Series: How to change algorithms using the QuiQ Programmer CT software.

For a description of the charge profiles (algorithms) take a look at the article Which Algorithm/Charge Profile Should I Use for My Battery?.

A Delta-Q QuiQ Programming Kit is required to upload these files to QuiQ Chargers. Contact your distributor or Delta-Q account manager to purchase a kit. Distributors may also offer a programming service.

If you already have a kit and need to download the PC software, use this link:

NOTE: Must use latest versions of algorithms, delete all older versions.

NOTE: Algorithms #261, #266, and #386 require a parser version loaded on 2016 and newer SW v3.6.x.  This parser cannot be updated with software.
